Journal of Voterology and Research (JoVaR)


The term “Voterology” was first coined by Dr V Ramaraj in his article on 20
th August 1999 (Dinamani, Tamil daily, print newspaper from Indian Express Group) and introduced the concept of “Voterology” Dr V Ramaraj was conferred with the title of Father of “Voterology” in 2000 at a meeting of voluntary organizations participating in the Indian National Voter Awareness Campaign. Studies on “Voterology” are election system, voter’s rights and duties, their behaviour, etc. The research on “Voterology” is relating to the voter and their all areas.

“The Journal of Voterology and Research (JoVaR)” aims to provide an open-access platform to everyone related to the field of Voter and their related areas.  The researchers, professionals, students, and other interested individuals are welcome to share their research in the field of Voter and their related topics within their respective fields.

The JoVaR will be published on the 20th   day of February, May, August and November. The Journal covers a wide range of subjects relating to the voter and their all areas, without limitations to any specific field within these areas. The Journal encourages interdisciplinary research that involves in-depth analysis of the mentioned field along with other disciplines in the modern age.

The JoVaR offers a thorough understanding of how socio-economic factors interact with voters and their related areas through comparative research to address the complex issues present in modern society and carefully analyze and participate in discussions on contemporary topics.
